1.Program description: DDM Materials, Inc. ("DDM") sends operational text messages to the freight carriers it contracts with and to the truck drivers who haul its loads. Messages to carriers include requests to price a haul, dispatch order details, requests to confirm the number of trucks committed to a load, and reminders about those requests. Messages to drivers include load assignments (first load and next load), load cancellations, a link to a copy of the driver's proof of delivery, a one-time message asking the driver to reply YES to confirm their number, and a confirmation that they are signed up. This is not a marketing program.
2.How to enroll: A carrier enrolls in one of two ways. (1) A DDM employee sends the carrier a single-use link to DDM's text message consent form; the carrier enters their own mobile number and ticks a consent checkbox that is not pre-selected. (2) The carrier signs a hauler agreement containing a text messaging consent clause. A driver enrolls on one of DDM's web forms: DDM's scale-ticket delivery page (reached from the QR code printed on their scale ticket, after they submit the delivery), or a sign-up link a DDM employee sends them. The driver enters their own mobile number and name and ticks a consent checkbox that is not pre-selected. In every case the number then receives one text asking the person to reply YES to confirm, and no other message is sent until they do. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of any purchase, sale, employment, or continued business relationship with DDM.
3. Message frequency: Message frequency varies and depends on dispatch activity.
4. Cost: Message and data rates may apply. DDM does not charge for these messages; your mobile carrier may.
5.How to stop: Reply STOP to any message to stop receiving them. You will receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed, and no further messages will be sent to that number. To opt back in, reply START and then YES.
6. How to get help: Reply HELP to any message, or call DDM at (940) 726-1122.
7. Wireless carriers: Wireless carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
